Introduction

The need for a liminal space to bridge the kitchen on the upper floor with the landsacpe led to the design/build of this cedar deck. Two sets of stairs have been designed, onc pyramid linking the kitchen to the dack and a second stair has been conceived to be an inverse pyramid (as if a boolean cut) to link the deck to the landscape. The deck is built out of western red cedar.
